Thanks so much for your visit. 

 

I have so much to say, and this little box won't cut it.

 

To summarize...I love all things food.

 

I love to contemplate food. What it means to people. How it shapes our families, our cities, and our world. I'm interested in how it's produced and who is producing it. I love to read about it, write about it, photograph it, and I think food memoirs are the greatest literary genre out there.

actually enjoy grocery shopping. Cooking is my creative outlet, and feeding people is my love language. Also, eating? Nothing tops it. 

 

As a trained nutrition professional, I'm interested in the science of food, the waterfall of biological processes that come from eating it, but mostly, the collective joy we can experience when we sit down and eat together. 

 

My food philosophy has morphed and evolved quite a bit throughout my career. So much in fact, I've learned the evolution will never stop, so I try not to be emphatic about any one thing. Being open to learn and being willing to change my mind about all things food, is where I'm at now. 

 

My current advice? Relax about food. Eat with less worry and more joy. Share a meal with others when you can. Kick food judgement to the curb.

 

Eat and let eat.
